Northward Capital is an independent Australian Equities fund manager based in Sydney, Australia. We have a highly qualified and experienced team of investment professionals who research companies and run specialist sector portfolios.

We currently manage investments to the value of over $2.4bn on behalf of a range of clients including large institutions, company super funds and industry super funds.

Northward Capital is majority owned by staff with nabInvest (www.nabinvest.com.au), a division of National Australia Bank, owning a minority strategic stake.  nabInvest was instrumental in helping launch Northward Capital in 2007 by providing financial backing, systems and corporate oversight. The entire Australian Equities investment team at IAG Asset Management Ltd transitioned to Northward Capital, maintaining continuity with respect to the management of the underlying funds, investment process and investment personnel.

Our focus is the provision of superior performance at acceptable risk levels for our clients. We achieve this by providing full accountability and ownership to our Sector Portfolio Managers (SPMs) and by aligning staff remuneration to the same above market return targets as our clients.
